I'm not a casual watcher...I don't miss a Saints game...Period. Through the bag years and all...But I guarantee you not one NFL game will be watched in my household until this shite is corrected. It needs to stop, period. Until it does, frick em.
And any MAN that can't stand the thought of not patronizing an organization after they have spit in your face and the faces of our defenders of Freedom....You really need to evaluate what it is that you stand for! Nothing, apparently! Did you care about a game when people were flying into towers on American soil killing thousands? Are you really upset about a game when planes land in your own city with flag draped coffins? Giving their lives for you?! Oh wait, go watch your fricking Saints....That mentality represents what this country has become, but you can't hide forever blanketed by the freedom provided from the blood shed of the men and women who died for this country for long....the day will come again when our freedom is attacked again, but I guess some people have to actually be in a fox hole to have faith in God. I guess we have to rearrange what is most important to us eh? God/Country/Family goes to Saints/God/Family for some folks...maybe it's out of order. Maybe some folks need to wake up. Anyone close to you give their life for their country? I bet if they did, that NFL game might not mean that much to you after all.

I am sooooo sick of this discussion. All I have to say is this, We have been coming down to a game or two for several years. Paying for over-priced tickets, without any recompense.
Love my Saints, regardless. However, after the past weekend we cannot alighn ourselves, with that is so delusional as to be dragged into a false narrative that the liberals are playing. Good luck with selling tickets, won't be me!
No more of our money!

I notice you didn't address the point of the protest - only the part you dont agree with. I can burn a flag and wipe my arse with it - and it's still a protest and my right to do so as an American citizen. Even, the Almighty Scalia agreed with this.

You know what is disrespectful to the men and women who died protecting our freedom - American citizens waving Nazi frickin flags. Not a peep about that being disrespectful to the men and women who fought and died in WWII.

Yes, i would agree to someone sitting down as they see fit. Again, it is their right to do so.

Absolutely. I mean, I'm not going to stop being a patriotic American just because the president dodged the draft in the Vietnam War due to sore feet, or because he mocked the military service of John McCain.

The entire shot show has me doing more productive things with my life than sitting around the boob tube watching millionaires play watered down & uninspired football and billionaires owners take advantage of their fans by taking them for granted.

Didn't watch the saints or any NFL team because I went outside and enjoyed my day breathing the refreshing air relaxing.

But here you are posting on a Saints themed board. It's really easy to see how your boycott is going

I didn't watch any games last week or this week. Screw the NFL- rich owners and rich players- give me a break! What do these million dollar players know about injustice?? They live a charmed life to play a freaking game! Most of us will never have the privilege of being rich; so much for that 'white privilege' bullshite we hear about but there sure are a lot of rich black players driving their Lambos and having their white hoes with them fighting to get some of that dough. These dumbass players can do their protesting on their own, but you don't turn your back on the flag or this country that gives you the ability to have the kind of money & power they do. They have basically spit in the face of all those who died for this country. And I know this is really all a 'black thing' but do these dumb asses realize how many blacks died for this country, especially in Vietnam? They do not see the irony that they show their own people- just dumb!!

SCREW ALL THIS POLITICAL CORRECTNESS! Many men have died to give these asshats the right to free speech. As consumers, we need to show solidarity and boycott watching any NFL products.

If you have lost a friend(s) or family while serving in the military to protect our freedom of speech, you would understand why so many people are pissed off about not standing up and respecting the Flag and OUR Anthem. Many tears of many have been shed due to the blood spilled of their family member on battlefields. If you cannot understand the anguish in this, you should consider living in another country that has required military service and locks you up for speaking or disrespecting their own nation.

It's silly to stop watching football because of a few self- mportant protesters or because they haven't been "fired" as the Blowhard- in Chief suggested they should be.
