Steelers signing Trubisky- kinda Jamis related

Steelers were a team rumored to have interest in Winston. Instead they are going with Trubisky.
If the Saints don't get Watson Jameis could still be available. I don't know why, but I think the Watson deal is a Longshot.
I'd love to know how much outside interest Jameis is getting from other teams. That would say a lot about how other teams feel about Winston.

i honestly think if we get watson they still offer winston a similar deal to last years for insurance in case of goodell suspending watson for several games over the BS charges
i think if winston had any legit offers he would have already signed with a team

Yes, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Goodell suspends Watson for some reason. Especially if he becomes a Saint. I'm not sure if anybody else has interest in Jameis as a starter. I'd love to know if any other teams see Jameis as a possible starter.
If the Saints do go the route of Jameis then we might just have to accept that they have had him in the building and the Saints know what he is or isn't capable of.

Makes sense. I think if you can get Watson you get him at whatever price, but who knows if Watson has any interest in the Saints without Payton.
Payton leaving killed any interest from Wilson so why wouldn't it for Watson?

I think Watson likes the situation they are offering him.
I believe he sees a team that is one good Q.B. away from being very competitive.
