Seems like the opposite. Looks like he'll be our top linebacker with those grades though.

He has quite an unfortunate name.

Fairley is coming in tonight, so hopefully that will be one more hole plugged before the draft
Just a visit or do you know if a signing is imminent?

Honestly not sure how imminent a contact is. Just know that they're meeting tonight, and will meet again tomorrow.

I actually really want Fairley for the right price. He would immediately boost our interior.

Agree. There's definitely cause for concern with him, but he's probably the best remaining DT on the market, and is a better option than Davison, or any other DT currently on the roster.

The problem with Fairley is that he is hit and miss...there are also character concerns. If the deal is incentive laden I wouldn't have a problem with it. I would definitely still draft a DT in the 2nd though, because you just don't know what you are going to have with him.

Definitely. We need a lot of help there. Maybe Davison steps up, and Richardson is moved inside on passing down, but the need is still there for a starting role as well as depth. I'm still baffled how we let Tom Johnson and Tyrunn Walker get away for so cheap.

if we don't get fairley, i wouldn't be totally opposed going Sheldon Rankins and then Kenny Clark in 2nd.

Worked out well for the Panthers picking Lotuleli and Short back-to-back in 2013.

I agree. I have to question Bill Johnson's talent evaluation.

Do you know if Fairley visited? I have heard nothing of him being here.

just curious how we're planning on creating the cap space for all these moves/possible moves. I'd hope they still have Guards on their radar.

I wouldnt' be opposed to that either. If we can shore up the interior it should help the pass rush....which of course should help the corners.
