so if they went out to hit them really fricking hard without money on the line it is better?

if they would call this an "incentive program" instead of a "bounty program" it would take away from the sensationalism that is this story...they weren't doing anything that teams aren't doing anyway, they just had an extra incentive to do it

I think someone pointed it out earlier but the PSing the captain label to red is the ultimate indictment of the media exaggerating. More a reflection on the state of society and media frenzy than a turning point in history as Goodell said. I won't discount the error and wrong done. I will point out the overreaction though. Beyond this, many friends of mine and I often are commenting on how the world is going to shite over being politically correct. Goodell typifies this candyass bullshittedness IMO. 2022: NFL flag football, yea!
