No, when Ingram has been coming in the D knows he's getting the ball.

Everyone admits this other than hybrid Saints fans/LSU homers. When Ingram is in we almost always give it to him and the D knows that. Tonight has been different.

They're running more zone concepts when he's in there tonight than usual. Basically the same stuff he did at Bama when he was crushing people.

Do you realize that everyone who isn't just blindly hating on Ingram acknowledges this?

Watch, when he gets out of NOLA he'll prove it.

Thank you Saints for actually using Mark Ingram in better situations for success. They have not done this for him the entire season. All we saw from him before was he would come in run it up the middle on first down then leave and not come back until it was first down again. The defense knew this and stopped it every time. If you watch the replays when Ingram is in there is never anywhere to go and I don't care if Adrian Peterson is running the ball he is not going to be getting positive yards in those situations. Hopefully they will keep this creative play calling for the running game up. If so the season might get interesting.

Third game of his career he has averaged over 4.0 YPC, but yeah it's all the fault of the play calling.

There may be be people who say Ingram in a traditional 18-22 carries per game offense could be productive, but no one thinks we are sitting on the next AP or even Trent Richardson and just not using him correctly.

I call bullshot. Ingram has been given the ball in less than ideal stats situations but that doesn't change the fact that Ivory and PT both did better in those same situations. Ingram has sucked arse at getting tough tough yards.

Bout time he ran good.I guess the thought of loosing your 3rd string job to a player who has been inactive all year lit a fire.
