So losing out gets the Saints number one pick and dennis Allen fired???? Honestly that seems like the better option.

Jimothy Lake 2 BR. Make it happen.

Yeah ok. Makes sense coming from a Miss State fan. I bet you enjoy your 4-5 season so far and an invite to the Carrier Bowl lol. Sorry other Saints fans have higher expectations.

When state wins, great. When they don't, too bad. Same with saints. I hope I'm never at a point where I get my enjoyment out of my school/team losing. If that happens, I hope I have enough self awareness to realize this has no point

So you’re point being all fans should celebrate wins regardless of how they are despite bad coaching, bad kicker, and tons of other issues against arguably the worst team in the league without its starting qb? Got it. Only real fans celebrate wins and cant expect more? Yeah sorry buddy I get that works at Miss State that shite doesn’t fly for most Saints fans.

You celebrate wins because nothing you do as a fan will mean shite to whether the team succeeds or not.
If Allen is going to get fired, he’ll get fired whether you or I are happy with a win or not.

So I cant express how I feel about this franchise because it doesn’t matter so I need to just celebrate the wins. What the frick are you talking about?

You obviously can. You never quit crying on here

As a Pels fan you should understand tanking doesn’t always pay benefits. I get the thinking, but I just don’t think it even exists in the NFL for a reason.

5-4 on top of worst division in NFL after 9 games. Celebrating this is like being happy you were able to wipe your own shite.
What a negative POS you are

Lol are you blaming my posts on Mickey Loomis and Sean Payton too. Idiot troll.

Staying in mediocrity doesn’t either. The main objective would be to get rid of Allen. By the way texans, lions and jags have done fairly well after tanking.

Now do the teams that it hasn’t worked out well for.
Posted on 11/5/23 at 5:20 pm to SaintTigerPel
So whats your solution? Stay as a mediocre team barely over .500 with the easiest schedule in the league?
Posted on 11/5/23 at 5:26 pm to Pels_Yaz
We are in 1st place in the division over halfway through the season. I am enjoying this season much more due to that fact than I would if we had just a win or 2. Right now, I can look forward to the possibility of the playoffs. I much rather that than the possibility of getting a top 5 pick to enjoy future seasons to the detriment of the current season.
Posted on 11/5/23 at 5:30 pm to SaintTigerPel
I rather build a capable winner than having fleeting moments of success as a mediocre team.
Posted on 11/5/23 at 5:42 pm to Pels_Yaz
I rather not completely suck than to suck horribly. I get what you’re saying and understand that line of thinking. I just don’t agree with it in the least.
Posted on 11/5/23 at 5:46 pm to SaintTigerPel
I’ll be honest it was that kind of thinking which was in place for years before Payton/Brees took over. Yes, we had some mediocre years in between with Brees/Payton but I also knew we had a great QB and great head coach and could contend. I don’t want to go back to the Jim Everett, Aaron Brooks days.
Posted on 11/5/23 at 5:53 pm to Pels_Yaz
You know, we didn’t tank our way into Payton/Brees.
