They're certainly pushing me away and I didn't really care about the kneeling. Didn't love it but felt as though that's an American right to sit during the pledge or the anthem. But to play the "black national anthem" feels intentionally divisive and meant to push the idea the the United States National Anthem is not for black people. Is separate but equal trendy again?

You don’t get people to acknowledge you by doing something you damn well know is going to offend a lot of people. The players may be dumb, but they know damn well they were trying to offend people and know damn well you don’t get people to listen like that.
