So what do we do for a backup now with jameis gone?

Is there someone we could realistically get on the market that’s a good backup option? Do we go get a project guy in round 3/4 that can sit behind Carr for a couple years?

Who cares? If carr gets hurt we should tank. Worst case we get some old bum from FA if we need to. Worked for the browns

Carr will be a fine backup to Jayden Daniels

Flaco is the best option if Haener is not ready but cost may be higher than other vet options.

Flacco is good but will cost at least $8mm. Too expensive with other needs

It doesn’t matter. We are not a contender. If Carr goes down, we just let the young guy play. Best case…we discover we’ve got something. Worst case…better draft picks
