259 passing yds thru 2 games
59.5% completion %
31st in passing yds
2 could have been 3 int's
complete disarray in the pocket under pressure

There couldn't be one person defending taysom, aside from me, who could justify him starting another game correct? Every mean thought and career damning opinion of taysom would then be justified because of these outings correct? He would only be a gadget guy and should never walk in a qb room again right? After all, he had all 6 of the supposed NFL starts to show his talent right? (not 5 + years of starting)

notice you also left off TDs.

Now show how the o-line and WRs ranked through those 2 games.

I realize you are known for your bad takes, but this is pretty silly. Unless you have a #1 draft pick sitting behind your starter, you don’t talk about replacing them after one bad game where he was pretty low on the list of people at fault for the loss.

it really doesn't matter. Taysom accounted for 4 td's his first 2 starts last year. One of jameis's td passes to kamara shouldn't even be considered a td pass. point is, be honest, it wouldn't matter to you either if taysom was having this production.

You seem to be shitting on the 1st game 38-3 win with flukey passing stats due to the short fields.

i guess seem would seem to be a pretty important word in your statement then. Its not what i am doing but its a desperate angle you need. I know had Taysom had been the starting qb of that green bay game, it would be stated repeatedly a million times the game was won because of the outstanding defensive performance on the field.

I don’t blame much at all for either of the picks. Sure he threw them, but

First was end of half, 3rd down, we hadn’t scored all day. Why not throw it up.
Second was late in game, still losing by a ton, another 3rd down.

Neither of them were really horrible decisions or back breakers.

O-line playing an absolutely horrible game is really all there is to it. Kamara finished like what, 8 yards too?

yes, so Chad should probably be advocating for Taysom to replace Kamara at this point in the season.

i was very critical of payton when it came to how the "competition" played out. Having Jameis, who's supposed to be this gunslinger qb, been here for over a year plus learning system,... its been a super conservative type game planning. Same type of conservative game planning that i've been critical of payton of when taysom got his opportunity last year in the 4 starts. Kamara's day was awful. It bewilders me how CMac can get designed mismatches at any moment and we can't seem to do with AK.

perhaps this is bc our WRs cannot get open to save their lives. what sort of risks can you run with blanketed WRs.

perhaps.

would you be here telling me about the WR's lack of ability to get open if Taysom was qb'ing the game.

i already know this answer bud.

CMC gets mismatched a bc teams are worried about Moore, Anderson and Marshall as well. No pressure on the QB

We have UDFA WRs who can be covered by one defender and all attention goes to AK. That and our QB got hit on 11/25 drop backs

It’s impossible to have an debate with someone so close minded.

Taysom was beat out in camp. Plain and simple.

Playing a game of what if’s has no realistic outcome, especially when the outcome you want is the only one of focus

then yeah, stupid fans would be starting stupid threads if Taysom had the same numbers in a vacuum.

Are you really seeking confirmation on fans' ability to overreact and ignore context?

Im no crablegs fan but adding 5 td's and 1-1 should be considered.

With that, he stays the starter imho
