He’s bringing Wink Martindale as DC…
Personally, I’m not against this. Wink kept Reid afloat with his defense for years.

Kafka has had a lower ranked offense eacb of the last three years. The Giants were the fourth worst offense in 2023 and third worst in 2024. Wink better have the best D in Saints history.

Kafka had his playcalling duties taken away. He was actually calling plays when they made the playoffs.
According to Giants fans they took a turn for the worse when he got demoted. Deboll took over playcalling
Not big on this as a hire but at this point why not. I think I'd probably still prefer Kellen Moore though

This isn’t incorrect.
With that said what exactly has Kafka done besides have really shitty offenses with these shitty QBs?
ETA: I guess they were decent in the run in 2022 but 28th in the pass.

Agreed but the LSU fans are wanting Brady because of 2019. They quickly dismiss Brady’s tenure in Carolina blaming injuries and a bad roster (with that logic Allen never should have been fired then). I’ve read that he was "inexperienced" and then got 183649294758393765939 years worth of experience being Buffalos QBs coach in 2022-2023. Then he took over play calling (with a good qb) and now he is a prodigy again and the best thing since Latina pussy.

I never wanted Joe Brady. I’ve always had a feeling he’s a great offensive coordinator, but would be one of those that would be a complete fail as a HC

I’m not saying all LSU fans but it’s a lot. And I’m not saying that he couldn’t be a good head coach. I just hate the selective picking of his accomplishments because he was with LSU when they won the natty.

This is why I loved the Coen hire for the jags as much as any of the young OC guys.
Seems to really get running schemes and line play, has elevated QBs who have previously really struggled in other systems, and just has a bit of the “it factor” and an obvious presence in his pressers and post game media.
Seems like as good as any of the up and comers.
Ideally though I’d like my candidates to have produced well at some point more than “rookie Mahomes and him were buddies”
Honestly I think the development of buffalos running game into a bully is a big feather in the Brady cap.

Right. It’s really no difference than the Brady situation to me. He does great when he has talent…..
And I don’t get why fans are against hiring McCarthy…. He has won everywhere… had a bad roster this year and still won more games than the Saints and are in a harder division.
