Since we signed a CB and are after a couple of OLB, what about Keenan Allen

Colston is gonna be 30 in June, Moore is gonna be 30 in August, and we have nothing behind them.

Toon-unproven
Morgan-deep threat

Allen is a physical specimen at 6'3 210 he is gonna be 21 next month. He can play opposite of Colston, and can be used down field. He has the athleticism to make people miss and the strength to run through players.

Comparison-Dez Bryant

Just no. Next year will probably be a offense focused draft.

Maybe the team should leave possibilities like this as a smokescreen to force other teams to trade up. I don't like Allen as a prospect much myself. If we were to go after a WR, I think it would have to be in the later rounds. Also, don't rule out us bringing back Meachem in some sort of swap with San Diego. That's a gut feeling right there.

Maybe you can invent some trades so we can take him into the second round.

I think folks who don't think we need to upgrade at WR are mistaken

We haven't even seen what Toon can do yet. He was very good at Wisky and was injured early in the process putting him behind all last year. I'm not giving up on him yet.
However I wouldn't mind using a high pick on a WR within the next year or two though

I wouldn't be mad at Da'Rick Rogers in the 3rd or 4th as long as we continue to nail it in free agency. He's got a lot of potential.

If we're gonna get a WR (which I would absolutely support), why not get the best WR in the class in Nuk Hopkins?

Brees would adore Hopkins from day one.

It's about priority right now. We had the worst D in football and the best passing offense.
I too believe we need to upgrade our wide outs, but with Toon being healthy and only losing Henderson. It's just not a priority.
On the offensive side, I see us addressing Oline first and then TE before we use a high draft pic or pursue an expensive free agent wide out.

fwiw toon could be another AA...we really don't know at this point. Can't really count on him for anything until proven otherwise.

I am for drafting as much D as we can get and I think if we go for any offense it should be a tackle. That being said I watched way too many Cal games this year, they alswys seemed to be on when I got home from work. Keenan Allen in this offense would be insane, he is a physical freak who can flat out play football. I remember thoinking on more than one occassion that their best offensive play was to have his brother just throw the damn thing up to KA. Hell, we could put him at safety.
