Shout out to John Benton. Replaced Doug Marrone and has really made a difference.

Kubiak is aboviuosly the biggest coaching addition but Benton is a close second.

He has turned Penning from bust to run beast and salvageable pass blocker. Seems to be correcting a lot of bad things from his rookie season. Identifying he is a RT and not a LT was an offseason key. This was all after the Saints loss Ramczyk for the season.

Fuaga looks like a future all pro. Very impressed, but also speaks to Benton working with him from day one.

Interior line has two seasoned veterans playing up to their expected level based on draft status and a third interior veteran playing solid.

Overall, very impressed.

I have to give Allen some credit for identifying major weaknesses on offense.

Allen is a good defensive coach and realized practice was too easy against the Pete Carmichael.

I have some cautious optimism.

Will feel better if the Saints make it to 4-2 or 5-1

Penning is and always was a beast in run blocking. It was pass protection at LT that got the band wagon fans upset.

Kubiak has defenses on their heels. Idk how to quantify an OL coach’s value but the scheme is definitely good for the unit

Stevie Wonder could see these issues two years ago.

So you think DA deserves no credit for recruiting this offensive staff?

Going full on the zone scheme and getting linemen downhill has made a ton of difference for the line. Committing to the run and the different ways we’re doing it is so refreshing to see

I think Loomis forced Carmichael on Allen.

Diversity of attack has been the difference, and execution. Hats off to OC and player effort. That doesn't come easy in the NFL.

Marrone is also just a depressingly unpleasant guy, beyond the talent questions

I can only imagine having to work under him day in and day out

McCoy & Patrick are our two best OL. They are playing at an All-Pro level right now. Ruiz & Fuaga have been super solid so far with very few battles lost outright. Penning has been surprisingly competent, but he does also have the luxury of Kubiak scheming chips & motions towards Penning's matchup at times.

This OL is currently playing like a Super Bowl favorite. I don't now if it's Kubiak's run-zone schemes that fit our OL's strengths perfectly, or if it's Benton's coaching/techniques, or a combination of both. Either way, I'll allow it.

I would add everyone else as well Getting JB and meshing with Kubiak has been a sight to see so far. DA hired good.
