It's been a hot minute since we have had a "should we" thread. Guice was just released by Washington. Do yall think he deserves to come in on a 1 year prove it deal?

Talentwise, if healthy he'd be worth a look at the right price... in a normal situation.

This isn't a normal situation.

The Saints are on the NFL shitlist, and had best not be looking at bringing in individuals on the NFL shitlist too.
He's injured his knee again according to reports, which either means he's really hurt (and thus not worth it), or the NFL is saying stay away (and thus, not worth it).

Damnnn, another knee injury? That's terrible. I didn't know that. I hope the best for Guice and that these allegations aren't true. Maybe he will just need to sit out this year and recover.

I love how fanatics immediately look past major red flags because they think the worst human beings imaginable might help their team score some points

That’s exactly what this locker room is missing. An injury prone woman beater. Sounds brilliant

Not excusing what he is accused of doing, at all, but none of the facts of the situation have come out yet, but he’s automatically, in your mind, already guilty and one of the worst human beings on earth and/or imaginable? Interesting..... seems as though the “wait for the facts” is only for certain individuals or certain instances....

Where are you seeing that? CBS Sports ( LINK) reported he was good to go a week or two ago.

That being said, three knee injuries in two years for a running back who has gained 250 yards in the NFL??? No thanks. Rather keep what we have currently.

Someone else posted it on the Rant, one of the reporters tweeted something like " and not that it matters anymore, but he's reinjured his knee yesterday".
Part of the coverage of his arrest/release.

If you watched him in his limited games last year he is not the same player he was at lsu. He lost a ton of speed and quickness since his injuries.

I almost think the knee injury bit was tossed in for good measure;

a way of saying "and he's hurt anyway, he can't contribute. So DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT".

In theory, a team could take a flyer on him, on the off-chance the charges get reduced or dropped. But saying he's also hurt yet again, that gives additional justification for nobody taking that flyer.
