Mate it was just a 5 second comment by Shefty at the end of the Vick injury report (no broken bones in his hand). Then they had Vilma with a word graphic saying something like "judge could rule in Saints bounty case as early as Friday".

It's one thing for this judge to overrule the NFL's kangaroo court expediently to err on the side of right to work. It's quite another for a different judge to overturn an actual JUDGE'S decision and to keep men from earning a living until they've had a legitimate trial.
IMO this will be Starcaps Part II and Smith/Vilma will get the full season in.

I heard that too, but it's so hard to predict what's going to happen in these things.
I remember the one thing that rang of hope was that the judge questioned the ruling of the arbitrator on the player appeals.
The question is: if they could win the appeal, how quick would it be?

I actually like where we are now. I like us having this chip. You suddenly take that away and I'm worried what happens - especially since Payton has been partying like its 1999 instead of working.

Laugh if you want but it would be hard to have the entire team work up this anger all offseason, rally around it, and then right before the bullets start flying suddenly and unexpectedly everything is back to normal.

it was on Mike and Mike. They had Schefter on, and the next segment had a lawyer that actually knew law.

I think it may end up like StarCaps too. I said that 2 months ago. Actually, i think they'll end up working out a deal to shorten the suspension. But tomorrow wont determine that according to this lawyer. There will still be hoops to jump through should he win the appeal tomorrow.
