Shane Steichen to the Colts, Bobby Slowik to the Texans

Steichen as HC and Slowik as DeMeco Ryans’ OC. Both guys I would have loved in those roles for us but we get Dennis and Pete. Really is hard to get excited about the Saints now. It’s amazing that literally everyone else thinks they are incompetent for their jobs except for our owner and her stooge.

Why are we getting worked up over two unproven coaches who could flame out in their new roles just as easily as you think they’ll thrive? I’m not defending our coaching staff at all, but you need to relax.

The worst thing that can happen is another bad year and they get fired and we are picking towards the very top of the draft next year with a completely new staff. I wouldn’t imagine a new coach would want to come in and be hamstrung with our salary cap anyways. Let DA sink or swim another year and if he doesn’t then start completely over in 2024
