I got this email today:
quote:

Dear Sho Nuff,

Saints Wait List Number: 41,900

As the football season approaches, we would like to make sure that your account information is up-to-date so you can be sure to receive our latest information about your wait list status.

I've been on that bish since before training camp in the 2009 season. This is the first time I have ever heard from them regarding my "status". Instead of letting people own more than 10 tickets or so, why don't they give others a chance?

Yes, I'm mad.

When did you put your name on the list approximately?

Have you ever been offered season tickets? My brother who's been on the list longer than me got offered some really expensive seats one time and couldn't afford it

If I had had 50 grand back in 1986 I could've owned a three bedroom condo in the French quarter. Now I have way more that 50 grand but that same condo is going for over a million.

Do you think the government should go take some of the rich people's condos and make it them available for me to purchase at those prices?

I don't see the difference.

You really can't fix stupid.

First, I hate Democrats. Not a big fan of Republicans either. Second, nobody is saying give things away to others. I am more than happy to pay for season tickets. I am a Saints fan, I want tickets for me and my family. Letting people own more than 10 or 15 (come up with a reasonable #) means they are scalping them.

So sorry for wanting to actually go to games. So STFU.

So it's my fault that I couldn't really afford to get tickets at that time (I'm not an old man like some of you) and should never be able to own season tickets since a bunch of scalpers own them?

You seriously don't see a problem with someone owning 20 tickets while there's a waiting list of 60k + people who really want to go to games?

Because you're a fricking moron. Nobody is saying anything about the government or "free giveaways" or anything like that. The Saints have fans and we want to go to the games. You dipshits are basically saying "sorry you weren't born in time or you went to college or you didn't have enough money 7 years ago" so you can't own season tickets.

It's so ridiculous you guys try to equate this to bandwagon shite. You don't even know how old someone is or if they had no money because of school, etc but you want to quickly label.

So someone who's 18 and couldn't afford to get tickets isn't a real Saints fan? Got it.

you're the one crying about not having tickets...was just messing with you about the "real Saints fans have tickets" thing cause you're all worked up.

I am young too, and I made it happen.

Good for you. It doesn't mean everyone else could. And how do you come up with $100 for season tickets? You're saying they cost $10 a game when you got yours?

ETA: not asking how you came up with $100, how so cheap?
