Yea, you're clueless. It was absolutely complaining about the no call on the blatant hold.

Uhm it doesn’t really both me and probably doesn’t Freeman but he definitely yelled “choke” numerous times along with the gesture directly towards Devonta.
Your comment doesn’t even make sense. Why would someone make the “choke” motion if they were complaining about a hold. Anyone that complains about holding makes the holding gesture with hands and arms.

Anyways, next game should be fun. Can’t wait!

Because the hold was around the neck right in front of him

Except he didn't say "hold". He said "choke". At the end of the day, who gives a shite...coaches are emotional and competitive. But be honest, no coach has ever grabbed their throat, saying "choke" numerous times in regards to a hold. No one buys that except Saints fans.

Stahp. He didn't say hold, he said choke. You're pacifying it because you lost. If the Saints had won, there would be countless threads about SP trolling the Falcons, 28-3, etc. And Falcons fans would be raising hell about classless, etc.

It's fandom, it's what we do. But stop trying to rationalize what you know is true. Devonta got emotional, and so did SP.

Agree with NGT.
Also, why did he forget (suddenly) about the gesture in the post game presser? He was crying about calls and still was today so why wouldn’t he have referenced your phantom hold around the neck?

At the end of the day, who really cares but let’s all be factual here.

I think he was messing with Freeman but I also like that about coach Payton. I mean they did choke in the SB, and Freeman even choked later in the game but got lucky on fumble. Hell Brees choked, but at least he isn’t known for it. I hope Payton screws with Freeman again next time, it’s not hard to get in his head.

Look Falcons won, we know that. But when you lose on the biggest stage and one of the biggest choke jobs in sports history from a franchise that we already known for choking. When it’s so bad that a head coach in the nfl of over a decade messes with you, what can you expect? I’d take 7-9 seasons for a century over losing the SB like that

For sure. Have we forgot about the SP "first down crutch" gif?

Never seen that, love it. All Saints head coaches present and past are easy to laugh at.

The thing is, as a Falcon fan, they can never get over that loss. You can come on message board and say it doesn't bother you, but it will stick with you till the day you die, and everyone knows Falcon's fans are lying when they say sports isn't everything, who cares, its been since 09 since Saints won a SB, blah blah.

No, we've had very few Falcons fans post on ST, nothing like in the past few years, after that loss. Now, the Falcons win and blow this board up. It's a Falcons SB. Congrats, again, I'm a Saints fan, I understand bad football. But the Falcons franchise is 0-2 in SuperBowls, and could have beat the most hated team in football. It's a disgrace, and the only condolence is the Saints have sucked the last 3 years. I feel bad about it. Will be a good game on Christmas Eve.

Go back and watch the clothesline that didn't get called and his gesture makes perfect sense. I shouldn't be surprised at the number of people that are running with this stupid story, but somehow I am.

Meh, there's two of us who post...DD and myself. And we've been here through the good and bad. As far as not being able to get over the SB collapse, I'm a fan of all Atlanta teams...I'm well versed in heartbreak. I got over it fairly quick. I'm used to it.

Definitely not talking about y’all 2. There was probably 10 of them at least last night but I don’t blame them. I’m pretty versed in heartbreak regarding football myself, trust me.

I think he was talking to Freeman, obviously I don't know 100%. I would like for somebody to push him on it. 99% of the time Payton is fiery like last night you know we are gonna win, the circumstances were too much last night and then Brees derped. The team needs this little break to get over it and not look past the Jets. We definitely need to take care of the Jets.

It's so tiring to see people who don't know crap about TV or how it works.

No one knows what SP was referring towards. Only SP does. A director sitting in a booth saw a SP close up and thought it would make for good TV. He put it on and some idiot who thinks he is a reporter saw it and asked a moron who get's paid millions due to a genetic lottery ticket if he was offended.

I don't know if SP was doing that toward a falcon or toward the official because the Saints were the obvious victim of very biased officiating. Regardless to have a poster claim that SP looked stupid is just a reference of that poster looking in the mirror.

Just the opinion of someone who worked in TV for quite a while.
