Yep that is a play I run 2-3 types to see the approach and when you do not possess an advantage then scrap it unless the situation dictates it.
1st and goal from inside the 5
2nd and 1
3rd and less than 3 (if I am going on 4th)

Unless he’s trying to throw against this defense, it’s useless. It’s puts us behind the sticks and bogs the offense down.
