Whatever the Saints would give to Winston this year. Get him on a 2 year deal. Draft a young QB for the future.

I mean, are we paying his $40 million salary? I would have to get a couple 2nd or 3rd rounders to take that on. And still probably make Atlanta eat $10 or $15

I would take Ryan and whatever pick the Falcons threw in for us to take him off their hands.

I wouldn't give much in a trade just because I don't want to help the falcons.

As an FA though I'd give him solid money. $20-25M a year for a couple years. Would be an excellent bridge guy. We could then aim to draft a guy (this year if they believe in someone, or next year).

Ryan is pushing Atlanta for a 3 yr. contract and Indy is courting Atlanta for his services.

Yep, he would be the best available option once he's a FA. To trade for him, it wouldn't happen & you'd have to give up too much for a stop gap. It's why I have an issue with the team trying to trade for Jimmy G or Baker, even if you believe they are better than Winston, they are not the 5-10 year plan. You'll still be looking for a rookie in 2-3 years, so why give up picks when you still need to use them on rookie QBs?
