Losing him, CGJ, and Vonn Bell over the past couple of years is the biggest reason our D isn’t as good as the they were. How many close games would have been Ws with them?

LBs are very good, DL and CB are solid when they’re healthy, but there’s a glaring weakness in the secondary.

Said over and over in the off-season threads Saints should have done whatever to resign Williams. Maye is fine but should be playing in honey badgers spot and not deep safety. He’s more physical than both of them and should be playing closer to the line.

I rarely see us in single high safety anymore with Williams gone. Major screwup by the front office.
