fact of the matter is, Saints have loss 2 straight home games to teams with lesser records

Just thought I'd point this out to the OP. The fact of the matter is....ANYONE the Saints lose to (except Indy) will have a lesser record.

Good thing that no one told Arizona that last year before they made it to the Superbowl.

Once we get a little rest and have some of our defense back, we'll be just fine.

Just like the Cardinals last year?

The problems on the defense stem from key injuries in the secondary.

You are forgetting the MOST important reason why the Saints were smoking everyone - HEALTH. Over the next 3 weeks, the Saints will be at full strength and well rested. I fully expect the Saints to return to mid-season form on DEFENSE.

In addition, the Saints defense held Tampa Bay to 17 points in regulation. If the offense racks up its usual 36+ pts, no one is talking right now.

SP called off the dogs after taking a 17pt. lead and went conservative. If you blame the loss on anyone, blame the game plan and coaching.

Who cares? Saints need to sit their starters and get healthy for the post season. They already did what they needed to do.

Absolutely nothing. But the black and gold coolaid drinkers think their head in the sand, blind sheepish, unquestioning "faith" in the team is somehow superior to those of us who use logic and reason to make an educated guess while still acknowledging the possibility of the unknown. They are the definition of homer.

I'm with you.

I hate posters like this. If the Saints lose he'll be here bragging and saying "I told you so.", but if they win he'll be saying "Oh...i'm so happy they proved me wrong. I was rooting for them the whole time." It's a win-win situation.

And what do all of you California hippies have against the Saints?
