If I were them, I’d play for as high a draft pick as possible, extend Jefferson, and go about plugging holes.

Jefferson and Jordan Addison is a fricking nice WR duo for a rookie QB

I don't think the Saints should help the Vikings out for anything less than a 4th, especially not when they're in our conference and we're playing them in 2 weeks.

While I agree, I'm not sure WInston throwing doesn't help our defense out

Couldn't resist

Don’t really understand it for them, but if we can get something for Winston, I’m all for it.

well he was on the nobody wants me on any other team list of FA signings so what could he really be worth? a 7th maybe??????

how could they be desperate enough to offer anything more than that?

Trade him for a 7th.

If the Vikings beat the Saints it becomes a 2nd.

Currently 4-4 after winning 3 straight and have the 7th playoff slot.

But now with Jaren Hall and Sean Mannion as the QBs currently in the building. Even the best trade and FA options aren't good options.

4-4 was with arguably the best QB in the NFC this season. Easy to see them freefall after this.

So. Terms of the trade must be agreed upon and only need to be signed off on?

The Saints would lose to Minnesota and JW would have the game of his life.

Well that certainly makes sense. Is a 6th round pick more valuable than a win this season? Guess we could be clearing salary to take on another player though

They're literally coming off three straight wins and 3/4, I can ASSURE you nobody on that coaching staff is thinking about "tanking"
What a lazy narrative

I’m not saying what they will do. I’m saying what they should do.

Cousins is a free agent after this year. Are they going to re-sign him again? I doubt it. Take this opportunity to get a top 10 pick. They aren’t winning the division

What they "should" do is make the playoffs as a wildcard team. Regardless of who their QB is. That's exactly what the coaching staff is doing.

Even the Bears coaching staff isn't "tanking" like I said. Lazy talking point.

If they had their QB and star WR, I’d fully support pushing to make the playoffs. They have neither, plus that QB is gone after this year.

Coaching staffs don’t tank- front offices do. If they give up something for Winston or any other QB, they’re making a mistake.
