To make this conclusion based on a 12 reception career is insanely impressive. Seriously you should look into a scouting job for the NFL.

It's crazy how much of a long shot he is, but you have to think he can play every special team.

There is no conclusion to draw, that’s literally what happened. Pretend I don’t even exist:

Patriots drafted him 37th overall and dumped him after a year for nothing. That’s their conclusion

The could only muster a 6th/7th swap from the Saints. That’s the league’s view on his value. No one offered more

The Saints traded for him yet continued to heavily add to the WR room. That’s their view on him

Not being optimistic on him is not hating. Shough posting him fishing with Polk doesn’t mean he’ll turn out

You know they say that all roster spots are created equal, but you look at me and you look at Mason Tipton and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one on one with another undrafted free agent for a roster spot, you got a 50/50 chance of making the team. But I'm a genetic freak, so I'm not normal! So Mason Tipton, you got a 25%, AT BEST, at beating me out for this spot.

Then you add Bub Means to the mix, your chances of making this roster drastic go down. See at final cuts, you got a 33 1/3 chance of making it, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of making it, because Bub Means KNOWS he can't out-athlete me and he's not even gonna try!

So Mason Tipton, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of making the New Orleans Saints. But then you take my 75% chance of making this roster, if we was to compete one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got a 141 2/3 chance of making the final 53.

See Tipton, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you on cut day.

and be a potential replacement for Vele down the line

Why would we want a Vele replacement? He really came on last year and led the league in contested catch rate. If Brock comes in and just blows it away then sure, best man on the field, but I don't think Vele is a weakness at all.

If he is good enough to battle up to Vele's spot that would be an embarrassment of riches in the WR room to me. I'm thinking more like Tipton's spot but I could be wrong and I hope I am if it's that he's even better than that.
