This front office is so awful at FA signings, I'm not really surprised

You'd be an idiot to disagree

H-man and Hill are complementary #2s and have different skill sets.
To make the 09 analogy, H-man is a hybrid FB/TE like David Thomas and Hill is the Shockey-like pass target. Hill is Fleener's backup and H might be the starting fullback. They will be on the field at the same time. Hell, all thre could be on the field at the same time.

Now CSP can draft a wide receiver with little to no backlash
He could have done that regardless

Obviously they feel they have the money to make this work. I have no problem with it. He's got a skillset we can use. And it's a cheap price, relatively speaking.
I really need to see Fairley and a G signed and I'll be pretty happy going into the draft.

Fleener is going to be used as a decoy.

or.....since the Bears wanted Hill, we now trade him to the Bears for a late round draft pick.

Don't think we can trade him there now that we matched. Maybe I'm confusing the NBA rule with NFL though.

I think Fleener will have 10+ TD's this year.

For $7 mil he better have 14. That's $500k per TD. IF he gets 7, that's $1 mil per TD. Seems kinda high.

Actually makes 3 mil this year
