His post is informative. yours said you heard something...it takes a little extra time to actually construct a good thread.

Two safeties signed.

Doesn't look good for Vonn?

I really liked the way he played.

Good depth.

Would love to see make a move for a Vet DE and then a cheap old back up QB and be done.

I will support rt and post in this thread.

That being said, all I have to say is, “Huh, okay.”

The Saints added veteran safety D.J. Swearinger late last December. He was active for one game, in Week 17, but could provide safety and special teams depth. I'm not positive, but I believe this deal could be eligible for the minimum-salary benefit with lower salary-cap cost.

Could be a 4th safety similar to Rafael Bush in 2013. CGJ roams the field/slot like Vaccaro. Wouldn't be stunned to see us take another safety in the draft, like last year when we picked 2. BPA baby. Just get difference makers on your team

This is a low key great signing and a testament to the culture here. Swearinger has been solid for a long time

quote:

DJ Swearinger - "As soon as I got to New Orleans last year, I felt the culture, I felt the camaraderie. I felt like everybody was on one page. ... I remember telling Jared Cook on my first day: "Man, y'all are living luxury ... the luxury is in the winning."

DJ Swearinger -- I will be competing for a starting job, regardless of what it says on the depth chart just because of my competitive nature. Said he'll do whatever the coaches want him to do, but he's here to compete

The only reason he didn't get much playing time last year is b/c he was only here for a like a month.

He's always been a solid player.

He's been a solid player in the league for a while. You should have heard of him if you keep up with the NFL.
