Saints vs Panthers (Dec. 3) has been flexed to 3:25 pm CT on FOX

Nothing official yet, but source says look for Saints-Rams and Saints-Carolina games to move to late afternoon time slot. SNF unlikely in Weeks 12 and 13.

Don't expect to see the Saints and Rams playing on Sunday night.

A source says it's not expected to happen.

There has been a lot of talk that the Week 12 meeting between the two teams could be flexed to the primetime slot since it features two teams sitting atop the NFC, but it looks like the game will stay put.

The Sunday night game, which is considered the league's premiere television slot, for that week is currently scheduled for Green Bay and Pittsburgh.

The Saints and Rams are both 7-2 and are considered to be contenders in the NFC. The game, which will be played in Los Angeles, is currently scheduled for 3:05 p.m.

New Orleans could see some of its other games get moved to either Sunday night or the late afternoon spot. In Week 13, the Saints are scheduled to host the Carolina Panthers (7-3), in what could prove to be a pivotal game in the NFC South race.

The only primetime game currently remaining on New Orleans' schedule is a Thursday night game against the Falcons on Dec. 7.

Saints/Rams is already late afternoon.

Maybe they're talking about moving it to CBS for the doubleheader?

Green Bay minus Rodgers still has more pull. Nice.

I guess which ever is considered the primetime that week. I guess move it back to 3:25 instead of 3:05

So 3:25 instead of 3:05 for TV?

Flex scheduling is designed to guarantee the best game gets on Sunday night.

So the NFL lied to us.

At least we found out that it had nothing to do with Green Bay/Pittsburgh being the matchup NBC wants, rather it having to do with The Coliseum not wanting the Rams having a night game due to lease obligations. I feel more content knowing that’s the reason.

That’s definitely not the reason.

As I told yall, the Packers and Steelers could be both 0-11 and they wouldn't move it. Ever.

If the Rams were 7-2 and about to play the Patriots or Cowboys at home, they would DEFINITELY find a way.

Tell me I'm wrong.

Wtf is up with that anyway? Even three years of 7-9 in a row the offense has been great. I don't get that at all.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think Fox/CBS gets 1st choice to flex a game to their prime spot then NBC gets the ability to flex.

This would seem to be why Saints Rams/Panthers were moved to Fox 3:25 game of the week and not SNF.

More If Saints-Rams were to be flexed to SNF, NFL would have to let teams know by tomorrow at latest. Unlikely league would flex out of 5-4 Packers at 7-2 Steelers, even though both Rams & Saints are 7-2.

Flexing Eagles at Rams on Dec. 10 is far more likely.

So they're okay with breaking the lease for THAT game?

Didn't realize the Rams play the Vikings, Saints, Eagles and Seahawks in the next 5 weeks. That's a tough stretch.

Good deal. Personally not a fan of SNF games.

Can someone correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the game already have to be scheduled for the afternoon slot to be moved to SNF? Meaning that the Saints/Panthers game could only get moved to the 3:05/3:25 slot from 12:00?

EDIT: Which would also mean SNF is only available for the Rams game?

I wish they would move the Christmas Eve Atlanta game to later.
