First 2 games: 793 yards allowed
Last 6 games: 891 yards allowed.

Our past 6 games passing performance puts us pretty much tops in the NFL. (i'm assuming)

Brady is going to Brady but we made Bradford look like Brady.

Great turnaround.

I'm really trying to stay objective about this defense to avoid getting let down again, but they're making it damn hard to.

Devil's advocate:
6 game win streak vs opposing QBs:
Panthers - Still somewhat injured Cam
Dolphins - terrible offense
Lions - clearly injured Stafford
Green Bay - no Rodgers
Chicago - zero pass game
Tampa - injured Winston, bad Fitzpatrick

We're about to find out what they can do for real in the next 5 game stretch against:
Bills - mobile Tyrod Taylor
Redskins - potential to be very good Cousins
Rams - red hot Goff
Panthers - Cam healthy and offense coming together
Falcons - Ryan and Julio, enough said

Don't care. My expectation is to be 8-2 going into the LA game.

Tell me why not?

Because these teams we’re about to play have better qb play than the ones we’ve played so far

I think we can win at Buffalo, but again, those are typically the games we lose. Up north. Cold. Tough defense. But this team has been winning in different ways than past so I'm more confident than previously.
I do think we win at home against the Redskins.

Because Washington and the Bills are not bad teams. Not great teams either but this is the NFL the Browns can beat the Eagles any given day.

Up there the cold isn't as worrisome as the potential for wind and precipitation. That stadium can become a nightmare for passing. Particularly the brand the Saints employ where they want to take deep shots.

The good thing, however, is that this team has shown the ability to run the football. Also, while I think the defensive turnaround has been somewhat aided by the good fortune of playing bad/injured QB's, I don't think that tells the entire story. This IS a much improved defense.

I'll give you cousins, but Taylor?

He isn't any better than Cam, Stafford or Cutler.

And I'll tell you why they will win. Coverage. The CBs and Safeties are playing lights out. These QBs have to hold the ball. The pressure gets there.

While I don't think the games are give me's, and in no way am I guaranteeing a win. But, I expect them to based upon the way they've played over the last six weeks. I will think this until LA.

This is bullshite. you know what was said last week..."well, lets just see what they do against Mike Evans and Deshaun Jackson". Well guess what...the combined for 3 catches and 38 yards. Tampa was the #2 pass offense averaging 295 yards per game. They had 135 yards yesterday. This D is very good.

Winston was clearly injured and Fitzpatrick isn't beating anyone anymore. That said, it will still a dominant performance.

ya'll notice that the saints ahve been beating teams up throughout the year. We've done some damage to most teams we've played on that next week's injury report.

he played most of the 1st half feeling "better than he had in weeks" (sideline reporter).

His injury originally happened in the Cardinal game (week 5 or 6). He threw for 384 against Bills and and 210 against Carolina last week.

From here on out, we can expect the best from these guys and will be disappointed if they under-perform.

Yeah, because the saints D caused that injury on Winston. The saints can't help that the bucs o line couldn't block them. Winston looked like shite before they caused his shoulder injury.

Buffalo is tops in the league in turnover ration at +11.
Buffalo is only giving up 18 PPG.
Weather forecast is rainy with a high of 44°.
Mobile QB.

Good stats here.

Not my biggest concern with the way this team is built.

Mobile QB.

So was Newton, Hundley, and Winston.

Downplaying this is a mistake. Not saying this team can't compete in lousy weather but don't act like it's not a factor.

Newton and Winston were both hurt. Hundley wasn't ready. Taylor can throw and pass and is healthy. Maybe not the passer Newton and Winston are when healthy but good enough to be a pain in the arse.

Lol they made garbage QBs look like Joe Montana last year. Look at the SF game for example. Pretty sure Kaep had close to or over 400 passing yards.

At least we are making bad players look bad. That’s how decent defenses are supposed to work.

This is the most obvious indicator that the defense has improved. I'm really looking forward to the next couple of weeks. I think they're going to really let us know how good this defense really is.

Tyrod is capable but the x factor on that team is Shady.

Keep him in check or at least hold him to respectable numbers, protect the ball, and actually field punts correctly and the Saints will win.

Tyrod isnt going to beat the Saints without complimentary football from his whole team.
