That's the funniest shite I've read in a long time.

This a-hole sounds like a 3rd grader who just got punked out of his "Cat eye" shooter!

Not kidding. He defends himself several times in the thread of comments lambasting him after the article.

Maybe he's just really playing it up.

I just can't believe someone would seriously write something that ignorant.

yeah and the onside kick would work 1-100 times in that situation. It is the other teams job not to let it happen.

Lsu did it to auburn at the beginning of the game and won.

Steve Montana... if that isn't a porn name rip-off of Joe Montana, I don't know what is.

Maybe he'll be happy if they give the Colts a trophy too, for participation.

The elementary school where my daughter works cancelled a scheduled school competition because they didn't have enough "Blue Ribbons" to give out to everyone who participated.

I am not making this up.

What "gentlemen's agreement?"

Seriously... there's a gentleman's agreement not to do onside kicks except when needed? WTF is that shite?

I've watched, played and coached football in my 38 years on the planet. I've seen THOUSANDS of games.

There's a fricking gentleman's agreement about onside kicks? Why have I never heard of this?

Maybe because he just pulled it out of his arse?

the dude's argument is obviously retarded.

But, I read an article where the author was defending Payton's decision saying it really wasn't that much of a gamble. He said looking at past stats going back I forget how far, when the opponent doesn't expect the onside kick, it works 60% of the time. If they had been practicing it, it's no wonder Payton thought his chances were better than good.

Youve got to be kidding. Remember when Manning faked "clocking the ball"a few years back and then threw a TD pass? Well that was legal too. What is wrong with this guy.I guess Play Action is dirty pool also since the QB only faked a handoff

Must be related to the Mannings. Sore loser Peyton can't even muster up the courtesy to shape Brees's hand. WUSSY. Lost my respect for him after that crap. As for the onside kick. I loved it. Thought I was gonna have a stroke when I saw that. Not dirty pool. Just plain strategic ball playing. Tough titty if Colts fans don't like it.

Whenever someone uses the term "Gentelman's Agreement" in sports, it's a bad thing.

"Gentleman's Agreement" to not put five black players on the court at one time.

"Gentleman's Agreement" to keep the Bills from winning the Super Bowl.

"Gentleman's Agreement" to never do an onside kick to open a half.
