I’d maybe consider over 8.5, wouldn’t be confident.
9 is too high of a line with the current HC. Gotta take coaching into consideration not just roster.

Carr at QB
Expanded schedule
Won 7 games last season

Does it happen?

Have to see the schedule first. Someone post the schedule please the teams that we are playing.

As of April 7, 2023, I'd have to say we're a PUSH on that total. Although the division overall looks weak and should be there for the taking, my current view has us winning 4 NFC South games and 5 non-conference games (Patriots, Packers, Texans, Lions, and Rams).

I hope that training camp/pre-season results will allow me to revise that number to a solid 10 or 11.

I can see 9 or 10 with this team. I would take the over.

Dufus Allen still at HC, gave a big arse contract to a middle of the road NFL QB, and a defense that’s getting long in the tooth.

IMO It’ll be worse than last year.

With the weakness in this division and playing the NFC North and AFC South along with the Giants Rams and Pats I can see 10 wins in there possibly more.

so 9 looks like the floor

God bless you guys. I’m just not betting on a Dennis Allen coached team with a rebuilding D line being near a double digit win team.

I think 9 is the ceiling with 7 or 8 likely.

Over.

Defense should still be solid, and Carr should be better than what we had last year. And people forget, that's a weird 7 wins; we basically had to try to lose to Tampa and Carolina those games. Ingram doesn't run out of bounds before getting the first without contact, we likely win that. And with any offense at all, we beat Carolina.

So, figure that, put Carr in, with Olave more comfortable, and maybe Thomas back- I can see 10-11 wins.

In this division 11 is very possible with MT back, AK for the back half of the season and a good year injury wise. The nfc is up for grabs beyond philly.

I thought 7.5 was easy money last year. Staying away from 9

the 49ers are still going to be really good.

Darnold actually looked okay for the Panthers last year so imagine what he could do on a weapon filled offense like the 49ers have.

I still feel like if Purdy didn't get hurt, the 49ers could have won that game (NFCCG).

which, I think the Saints played their best last year against the best teams.

Had the Bengals bothered until the 4th quarter.
held the 49ers to a low scoring total but... got shutout.
Beat the Eagles albeit vs. Minshew.

But the thing is Minshew lit up the Cowboys in a way a week earlier and no one thought we'd win that game. But they did.

I just refuse to get my hopes up anymore too much.

And I'll tell you why.

Even when the Saints had Payton and Brees there were too many what if moments in the postseason for a team that shouldn't have had that many.

Now we are without those two.

It's tough right now.

Nobody seems to care to give a frick about this draft.

look at the activity on the board.

Zilch pretty much.

I get it.

I'm not enthusiastic as before.
