Slow time of the year for Saints news so here's a link to a few Saints related articles. Camp begins in less than 2 weeks.

I’ve had the chance to spend some time with Mr. Abramowicz and he’s the nicest guy ever.

Danny had 105 consecutive games with a catch. An Nfl record at the time.

A friend of mine played for him when he was the head coach at Jesuit High School in NOLA and said he was the biggest jerk ever.

Danny Abramowicz was drafted by the Saints in 1967.

The first 6 years he played in the NFL- 1967 to 1972, NO ONE IN THE LEAGUE had as many receptions as he did.

The Saints have never had a WR that dominated the league like that.

I wouldn't be upset as this was the best way of him and the Saints parting ways. His coaching had been stale, predictable and frustrating for a few years now. Dennis Allen is a darn good replacement as he'll allowed Pete Carmichael to do his job minus the cute and stupid shyt. We all know what Allen brings defensively. And on top of that, the team gets compensated for the change of guard! Win-win-win situation imo.

You never left a job for greener pastures? I have, and it’s great.

What do you mean in reference to my post? I'm confused. It was time for change right?!

I’m saying that Saints fans better be careful what they wish for (they got it)

CSP’s out now, so y’all should be happy. How many coaches do you think will rotate in and out here before we find ourselves in the NFCCG again? I’d bet 3

People always want to fire coaches but forget how slippery that slope can be. You want to be like some of these other teams that take over a decade + to find the right guy?

Nope. Not me. We had the right guy here, but the fan base got bored with him so here we are…

I didn't want him out. He chose to be out. Since he is gone, I also think that this is the best case scenario. We keep the good he was responsible for and possibly have a better situation without his hubris.

L...O...fukking...L! That was Brees we wanted gone a couple of years before he was done. There wasn't much talk of wanting Sean out. My initial statement was basically a "since he's gone" post. And wtf cause it was his decision to step away anyway. I ain't crying over an NFL coach who's stubborn and predictable as hell and left basically for another job.
