Saints need a WR like Josh Doctson to replace Colston

Almost as big but faster and more athletic. Catches the ball with strong hands with authority.
Brees would make Doctson an all-rookie performer from day one.

I like him. Definitely an option if we're too low for Treadwell. He's kinda slim so I question his ability to be "physical" like we need, especially playing Big 12 football (smh).
I liken him to Jordan Matthews, just a little taller and a little leaner.

I like him a lot. Seems like he is very physical and catches the ball all over the place away from his body.

I like the height, but would love for him to add another 10 pounds to his frame. 6'4" 190 would take a beating coming across the middle.

I watched (insert somebody here) on TV last night and he had a great game. I will start a thread saying that the Saints need to take a look at him in the morning.

well if we keep winning we most likely will not have a pick until the late teens or 20s.
I also have little to no faith in the Saints draft process. Yes they have hit on some late rounders but more often than not they have been a disappointment.

We made changes this offseason and brought Ireland in.
We are playing more rookie snaps than any other team. We knocked our draft out the park

Yes, ill give them that but once is a fluke lets get 3 or 4 decent drafts in. Then I will regain confidence.
Also, i know hes hurt but I am unimpressed with our 1st rounder. Our defensive picks have been great though.

If you would be paying attention, he has been doing the same for two seasons. I know the numbers are inflated because of the video-game style of Big 12 football these days, but he is much more like Crabtree than like some of the no-names that build up stats in pass-happy offenses.
FYI - Doctson has 71 catches for 1250 yards and 14 TDs in only 8 games.
His career numbers are currently 207 catches for 3101 yards and 34 TDs.
He did not just have one great game. He will be a starting NFL receiver for somebody.

^^^^^THIS
Doctson didn't just come out of nowhere. He was good in 2014 for TCU but he has been great in 2015.

So many good receivers likely to go into the draft this year, I'd be fine with any of them. We could feasibly pick up a future 1st-2nd option in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Watching Treadwell on TV right now and this dude is going to be a stud in the NFL as well. I think the Saints will win enough games to miss him though. Doctson might be a good fit.
ETA: Damn, great catch by Tread for a TD even though I want Barn to win for LSU.

Similar athletic abilities & body frame between these two. I think Doctson will be alright & put on a few pounds during his pre draft training.
