Not liking the wait for this later draft just for the NFL to try and extract a few more extra dollars.

3. Jacksonville - Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson
4. Cleveland - Blake Bortles, QB, Central Florida
5. Oakland - Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
6. Atlanta - Khalil Mack, OLB, Buffalo
7. Tampa Bay - Jake Matthews, T, Texas A&M
8. Minnesota - Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville
9. Buffalo - Taylor Lewan, T, Michigan
10. Detroit - Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State
11. Tennessee - Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA
12. N.Y. Giants - Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina
13. St. Louis - Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M
14. Chicago - Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, S, Alabama
15. Pittsburgh - Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
16. Dallas - Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh
17. Baltimore - Timmy Jernigan, DT, Florida State
18. N.Y. Jets - Odell Beckham Jr., WR, LSU
19. Miami - Zack Martin, T, Notre Dame
20. Arizona - Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State
21. Green Bay - C.J. Mosley, ILB, Alabama
22. Philadelphia - Dee Ford, LB/DE, Auburn
23. Kansas City - Brandin Cooks, WR, Oregon State
24. Cincinnati - Kony Ealy, DE, Missouri
25. San Diego - Ra'shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota
26. Cleveland - Ryan Shazier, OLB, Ohio State
27. New Orleans - Marqise Lee, WR, USC
Last week: Ealy. I've FINALLY shifted to wide receiver for the Saints for their first-round pick. Part of it had to do with me moving Ealy and Shazier up the draft board. Wide receiver is an obvious target for the Saints at No. 27. We already know the Saints are interested in Lee after having him in for a visit. Lee also thrived at USC under a capable quarterback like Matt Barkley in his first two seasons in Los Angeles. Lee could re-establish that rhythm with Drew Brees.

28. Carolina - Morgan Moses, T, Virginia
29. New England - Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville
30. San Francisco - Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State
31. Denver - Jason Verrett, CB, TCU
32. Seattle - Demarcus Lawrence, DE, Boise State

If there were no trades, that mock is actually pretty legit for almost everyone in the league.

It's pretty close to what I'd call general consensus. I don't have any real nitpicks until Philly. Is there any better staright up replacement for DeSean Jackson than Brandin Cooks? He's the ideal fit there IMO. SD almost has to go CB unless there was a run before them.

dayum, my mocked guy to the Saints, Kyle Fuller, is the highest I've seen him yet- the second CB taken at #15.

Unfortunately, I agree. From all accounts he's a good dude as well, which should only help his draft stock. I'm sure Chip is also pretty familiar with him from his days at Oregon. Unless a top guy from the Eagles' board drops to them, I can't see them passsing on Cooks, assuming he's still there.

I'm sorry, I just don't see us getting a situational DE in the 1st rd this year. We have needs that should be addressed there.

Holder Full 7 Rounds

First round (No. 27 overall) - WR Marqise Lee, USC
Last week: DE Kony Ealy, Missouri. Lee analysis: The Saints need a playmaking wide receiver. Lee made big plays in his first two years of college with Matt Barkley throwing to him Predictably, his numbers fell with a new signal-caller. Lee (6 feet, 192 pounds) could find that same rapport he created with Barkley here in New Orleans with Drew Brees.
Second round (No. 58) - DE/OLB Jeremiah Attaochu, Georgia Tech
Last week: WR Jarvis Landry, LSU. Attaochu analysis: The 6-3, 252-pound defender seems like he'd be a perfect fit to bring youth and speed to the Saints' outside linebacker spot. It's hard to question his production with 31 ½ career sacks at Georgia Tech, a school record.
Third round (No. 91) - CB Pierre Desir, Lindenwood
Last week: CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste, Nebraska. Desir analysis: It didn't feel right for me to have the Saints with no small-school players in last week's projections. Desir isn't just a flier, either. He certainly possesses NFL size at 6-1, 198 pounds.
Fourth round (No. 126) - G Trai Turner, LSU
Last week: OLB Devon Kennard, USC. Turner analysis: Turner (6-3, 310) could be an NFL starter in his rookie year. So why would the Saints take a starting guard when they have Pro Bowl players Ben Grubbs and Jahri Evans? They could bolster their depth for 2014 then go with Turner as a starter in 2015.
Fifth round (No. 167) - WR Kevin Norwood, Alabama
Last week: S Ahmad Dixon, Baylor. Norwood analysis: I've seen him play since high school in D'Iberville (Miss.). Tall and lanky (6-2, 198), but his 4.48-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine was better than I expected. Plus, the Saints have expressed plenty of interest in Norwood, according to a source I talked to last week.
Fifth round (No. 169) - C Bryan Stork, Florida State
Last week: Norwood. Stork analysis: This pick is a no-brainer pick. The Saints need competition at center. Stork (6-4, 315) visited the Saints, so this seems easy to gauge.
Sixth round (No. 202) - RB De'Anthony Thomas, Oregon
Last week: DT Deandre Coleman, California. Thomas analysis: The Saints don't make a regular habit of drafting running backs, but Thomas could be compete for a Darren Sproles-like role.

sorry bud, I think ya have it right as Philly being the lowest Cooks will go. My Kyle Fuller mock is looking less likely as well. He is creeping up as the #2 CB on boards now. Ya never know tho...

If Lee had his 2012 and 2013 seasons flipped he could have been the #1 or 2 WR taken. Those 2012 numbers btw...

118 catches
1721 yds
14.6 ypc
14 TDs
he even ran well
13 attempts
106 yds

2011-12 averaged 28.5 yds on kick returns too
