Lived in JAX a few years back. To drive up on a boat and walk 150 yards to the stadium entrance is one badass feature.

I think JAX is a great city if you know where you’re going. Stadium is great too. The worst part about it is those arse ugly teal seats.

I’ll be driving up for the game as well. Looking forward to it!

Went to school in Jax, and took in a few games each year. They are a good time. Fans are passionate, but cordial since they have been losers for so long, so don’t expect much heckling or shite talk. Stadium is easy enough to get around, but no shade, so the afternoon has the potential to be brutally hot.

There’s not much going on around the stadium, except Intuition Ale Works (really solid, but will be packed), so if you’re not tailgating there’s not too much for you to do pre-game.

Are you just driving up or staying the night?

There are a couple of hotels downtown on the river that are walking distance to the stadium, but other than that, Downtown Jax leaves a lot to be desired.

You can take a five minute Uber or venture out to the Riverside/Five Points area for some great restaurants and breweries though. That’s where I’d recommend you spend most of your time, nice walkable neighborhood unlike downtown. You’re also only a 10-15 minute drive from Jax Beach, but coming from Miami you probably have better beaches.

Like a poster said above, there it’s not a bad place if you know where to go!

Not a bad spot! Engine 15 or Green Room Brewing for drinks, Maple Street Biscuit Company or Metro Diner for breakfast.

Bold City is by far the best brewery in town. Engine 15 is good too, as is Green Bench.

If you stay at a hotel on Jax beach, they actually do shuttles to and from the game from the beach. Brother lives literally two blocks from the ocean and does that every game. Little fuzzy on the exact specifics but something to look into for anyone wanting beach with their game.
