Coaches in pro sports are only as good as their front
office.Philly has been a cluster of inconsistency over
the last few years. Pederson is a very good coach. You can
talk about Riech`s contribution to the SB season, which I
believe was accurate, but all the noise about the QB
after the SB and the following season caused big time
problems in that organization.DG had a QB forced on him
who didn`t fit what he was doing. It starts at the top and
they were`nt in alignment.

Reich has had Wentz for 3 seasons as OC and now HC. If ya really want to get critical on Wentz’s development. He had a chance to impact the guy just as much if not than Pederson

And Foles was shite in his starts heading into the 2017 playoffs. Guy went on a 2 game heater in NFCCG and the SB. Nothing more nothing less

I still think DA is the primary HC target. I like the Pederson interview as he could be the OC if he does not get any of the other HC jobs or decides the right opportunity is not there for him.

Pederson would take an OC job with a good organization over another HC job with a dysfunctional organization. If the saints invest in the offense through the draft and FA this offseason, someone like Pederson could use it to get back into a top HC job.

I love how A) It's Sean Payton's fault the Saints have "salary cap hell" and B) The Saints don't have a gerbil in a back room finding loopholes in the NFL's salary cap policies. This roster is ready to compete for championships, especially the defense. Assuming Mike Thomas comes back, they are a QB and WR away from being the cream of the NFC South. That gets you a top four seed AT LEAST. I love hack writers doing hack writer things.

1. There is a reason why hack writers and journalists are in the media and not coaching or working for a team as a GM. They have no creativity.

2. Pederson is not my first choice but he is not a hell no candidate for me either.

3. The Saints could do a hell of a lot worse than having Nick Foles to backup Winston and/or Hill. Not having decent backup qbs on the roster is what killed the season.
