How many times are we going to punt from between the 45s. If this was a stat that was tracked, it seems like this team would be breaking records here.
Bro, watch more football
Where would you like them to punt from?

Carr looked really good first half. Zip on the ball and finally a lot of sharp throws across the middle and got the ball out quick. Didn't see as much of either in the second half.
There was 1 particular play he got tackled and came up holding that arm. I wonder if he reinjured it

Bro, maybe you should take your own advice and see how often teams are punting from around midfield vs the number of times the Saints do.
Maybe saying 45 was a little too much, but just looked at Headley's stats. 9 of his 43 punts (20.9%) are between the 45s. 23 of his 43 punts (53.5%) are between the 40s. That's roughly 25% of the team's total drives that get to around midfield and hit a wall.

somehow we aren't 7-2 and it's maddening.
Still have nightmares about the second half collapse in Green Bay. Should have beaten the Texans too, but not nearly as frustrating as the Packers game.

I’m just saying, that’s a weird thing to complain about… of course they’re gonna punt between the 45s, if they got any further they’d probably kick a field goal

Based on the track record, need to get to the 35 for DA to feel comfortable about them kicking FGs, and need to get inside the 20 for the fans to get comfortable
I'm not saying they shouldn't kick from the 45, although that is a place where a lot of teams are going for it or at the very least run a fake punt to Taysom. Just saying we tend to have drives stall there a lot

More Taysom Hill on first and goal and in the red zone would have resulted in two more wins.
Agree completely, plus had Carr not gone down in GB. Regardless, it’s the past and we’ve learned this now. We are using Taysom more frequently recently, along with Kamara, and seeing results on the scoreboard.
We need to continue that trend moving forward and we should win most games against a bad schedule.

Fair enough

This is the way most teams play. They have to take away something and give something. So they take away your ability for the big play and make you take the underneath stuff. This allows you to get 2-3 first downs and move the ball out to around midfield as you say between your 45 and the opponents 40 and then they lock it down because they are not as worried about getting beat deep and trying to keep points off the board.
