the fact Sheldon Rankins plays on the Bengals D is probably a big reason why that D is one of the worst in history.

My case in point, we passed on Tunsil, one of the better tackles in the league for a DT.

leading the team in sacks is an indictment against our DEs more than a positive for Breese.

He’s got more sacks this year than Chris Jones, Nmandi Madubuike, Cam Heyward, Jeff Simmons, and Deforest Buckner. These are the best DTs in the league

6th most sacks in his draft class.

And there’s one on queue

Sacks aren't everything when playing dt.

He is good at rushing the passer but hasn't been great against the run.

He has a pff grade of 38.3 since you like pff so much.

Cam Heyward is at a 90.0

I was going to say. The guy loses 90% of his snaps but because he gets untouched on a basic stunt, people on this board think he is a good DT?

Yeah, I was super high on him coming out of Clemson.

He has regressed some. The sacks are nice but you can't just ignore the rest of the snaps. He needs a huge nose next to him. Saints don't have much at dt. Even guys like shy Tuttle would be an improvement.

Have to reset on the d line in the next 2 years.

Good thing I never said he was good vs the run. He’s a sub 300 lb DT. I’ve pounded the table for a legit DT to pair with him

What else are you hanging your hat on with this defense? 4th youngest guy on the roster being your best pass rusher from the interior is a silver lining on an otherwise shite DL

Ok

You just compared him to some of the best dts in the league. You know the ones that play both the run and pass.

And I like breesee as a pass rusher. Just said he has regressed, which he has.

This is just facts bubba. It’s not a comparison

Surely you’d know if I thought he was a better DT than any of those guys
