Saints have 18 missed tackles through the first three weeks, behind the Steelers (16) and 49ers (14). The Bucs have the most (41) and Falcons are tied with the Jags for third most (38). Feels like have the missed tackles happend in Q4 of the Eagles game as the defense was gassed.

Demario Davis/Peter Werner/Tyrann Mathieu are all to be thanked for this.
Alontae Taylor has been solid outside of one miserable attempt Sunday as well.

I appreciate this take. I always find it amazing how often this board will brand a player due to one uncharacteristic play.

Sad thing is the two longest TDs our D has given up is off of missed tackles.

The Saquon Barkley 65 yard touchdown wasn't a missed tackle actually. He went up the gut untouched..

Demario didn't hit the hole as quickly as he usually does (he looked a little gimpy to his credit) and then Will Harris (the lone safety on the play) came up quite aggressively on opposite side that Barkley ran.

That Eagles running td was a sign of the defense totally worn out. Offense did not help them at all
