Regarding Shockey: the dude score the GW points in the Super Bowl. He's a permanent part of Saints lore, and it's totally fine to wear his jersey. If it were me, I would probably wait until he left the division or retired. But that's nitpicking.

Nothing wrong with wearing a Deuce jersey, he will always be remembered as a great Saints player

I already said wearing a Shockey jersey is fine...ONCE HE RETIRES. The dude plays for a division foe that we have a damn losing record against

My friend that I go to all the games with sports a Stallworth jersey.....I may have to buy him a Ingram jersey are something for Christmas just so he quits wearing that old shite...
But I cant really say shite, I sport a Dave Waymer jersey, and he's been dead since 93......But its ok to wear an old jersey, if they are dead...right?

Someone at the game last week had a jersey that said NOLA on the back. Also have seen numerous Buddy D's and even a Jim Henderson.
Customized jerseys may be the way to go.

Thats what I did....Dave Waymer is my all time favorite Saints player..Obviously, its tough to find a jersey of a player that retired nearly 20 years ago....So,I got the Reebok personalized jersey with his name and number.....

precisely , I believe that wearing jerseys of great Saints of years past #1 pays homage to those that wore the b&g
#2 I get tired of seeing the same ol' jerseys

Deuce will be worn 20 years from now like people still sport Archie Jerseys! I busted out my Dale Murphy jersey last night and today at Braves game.

I think I may go back to wearing Deuce again. I stopped wearing Drew last year because everyone had one, so I starting rocking a Reggie

Call me crazy, but as a concious fan of this team for 17 years I have yet to feel the need to buyba jersey. Infact, up until 2009 the only Saints gear that I owned was a bandana that I hung on my wall. I recently got a Saints hat. That's on my wall too.
I just don't feel I need to have outward displays that show my love for a team. It's in here *points to chest*

Real fans are proud to display the colors and symbols of their teams, not hide it in a place where no one can see it *points finger firmly to your chest* Yeah, your one purchase of a bandana officially outs you as a closet fan, i.e. not a fan at all
