If you twitter guys don't follow Brian Baldinger, you should. He breaks down film and explains it in video.

Here are some he did for the Saints vs. Packers.

Cam Jordan Play

Lattimore

Rankins vs Double Team

I like his stuff, but is there a reason he can't show actual video footage, instead posting his phone recordings of breakdown videos?

not saying i watched all of rankins but i did pay attention to him. there must have been very few double teams bc i hardly noticed any. Rankins did a lot of stunts or so where he where run down the line and not push the pocket. I'm assuming by design but it often did not work in our favor when the run was designed or cut back right where his void was.

Dude, what do you even say about Lattimore? That 2nd clip when he passes his man off and gets over the top....that's a rookie.

I would be really interested to know what level you played at during your playing days. Your comment this morning about what constitutes a great football player makes me think you don’t know shite about football.

You know, I was wondering why he was even there, when I saw the play real time.

Seeing this, you can appreciate the nuance of the defensive play design and everyone getting their assignment right. That's all Dennis Allen's design and Lattimore's smarts.

Read either, I said I wouldn’t call Brady the best player of all-time and I never said anything about what makes a great football player. Try again....

This part is key. Years before, Lattimore breaks off to cover deep, safety goes the wrong way or follows him. This defense is playing as a unit.

Brady is in no way the greatest football player ever. You can give him the QB title, and that’s it. Brady would suck if he had to play any other position but QB on the football field.

That shite is dumb. Don’t try to wiggle out of it.

And you still haven’t answered my question.

I watched the play live when Lattimore almost got a pick...saw the beginning of the play when he was lined up in what looked like man coverage then moved my eyes to Hundley waiting for a sack...when he threw it and Lattimore was there I said out loud "holy sh*t where did he come from?"

I love breakdowns like this. Thanks for taking the time to post these.

Great seeing, "Lattimore is good - again" I watched that play and did not realize how that went down until I saw it again today. Nice.

All that I was saying is that he’s not a great athlete, he’s limited to in that regard. I’m am more impressed by the greats that were dominant statistically and were gifted athletes. Brady is a great QB, probably the best QB ever. I’ve been saying that in the other thread the entire time. I’d bet that probably 90-95% of the people in here believe that Brady isn’t the best football player of all-time. I didn’t spell it out like that before, but that’s all I meant.
