I can't remember from what source I heard it from, but generally having an older team helps you out in the playoffs where experience matters.
But having an older team will also work against you late in the season and you'll have to excuse players from practice to protect the health of your team.

If my calculations are correct it’s 2.4 years average oldest to average youngest. Not significant at all.

It's not nothing, but Brady would raise it about 0.3.
