Would you prefer LSU to play in a dome?

quite honestly I wouldn't mind a retractable roof on Tiger Stadium. imagine how loud that motherfricker would be?

btw for the Tampa locals, is the game blacked out on TV for you guys? or did the fans actually show up and sell the place out for a change?

People can get really silly in the rain when alcohol is involved. At least I'm entertained.
Saints fans know how to roll with shite like this better. Every other Buc fan I'm around is grumpy.

and I also know how miserably hot and humid it is in Tampa.

It doesn't last long into the season at all.

the same can be said about the heat in the state of Texas. they built their stadiums the right way to give the fans a better game experience (Jerry World, Minute Maid, Reliant, etc.). Florida should take notes.

While I haven't been to any of the new Texas stadiums, I have been to other domes for football games.

I prefer outdoor stadiums. I would also prefer a retractable roof for Rays' games.

I love the weather here, but I'm a native, and recognize that many can't deal with the summer/early fall weather.

It can also be an advantage for the Bucs, who get used to the weather, while other teams might not be used to it when they visit.

It's a personal preference, and I understand that.

That being said..... There's a reason why Tiger Stadium is recognized as one of the best, if not the best football experiences that a fan can enjoy.

well just looked it up and this says otherwise -
quote:

TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers scored a victory of sorts Thursday afternoon when they announced Sunday’s home game with New Orleans will be televised live on local television.

That doesn’t mean the game is sold out because the Bucs elected to use the NFL’s 85-percent threshold to lift the blackout. Tickets remain on sale on the team’s website.

But the mere fact the blackout has been lifted is major news.

Dating back to 2011, the Buccaneers have been blacked out for 19 of their last 23 home games.

wow. I knew the sports fans in Florida were awful, but I didn't realize they have that much trouble selling out NFL games.

It was coming down moderately hard with pretty decent wind gusts. The sky is pretty black but it's not raining as hard, light drizzle. I don't think they start for a little while but it feels like the typical Bay Area afternoon shower.
