You are a hopeless homer if you think Olave is better than G Wilson. Hell, he's not even as good as Lance Moore from back in the day.
Olave 's role is WR 1 and he's terrible in that role. He cost us insane draft compensation. He's cost us 6-8 games. He's not even exactly a likable dude. I don't get the appeal unless you are a Twink that likes his occasional tiktok dances that he puts up in L's.

Apparently we were going to make a deal with the Giants to send them Olave and a 2026 5th for CB Deonte Banks and a 2026 4th.
This fell through because Pittsburgh has offered a 2026 3rd straight up for Olave.

Facts are Garrett Wilson just signed a 4/130 million dollar extension while Saints fans don’t even want to pay Olave 3/75.

3 is fair, it would be nice if there was a conditional 2nd based off playoffs or super bowl attached.

It’s pretty obvious you don’t watch tape, and don’t take all factors into account. It doesn’t matter that Garrett Wilson had Patrick Surtain on him last week. Olave had more your yards last week so that means Olave is the better player. It doesn’t matter who is throwing the ball to the player, it doesn’t matter the system they are in. If one player has more yards than the other player that means they are the better player.

his other issue is that he isn’t explosive with the ball in his hands. Wilson is more dynamic in that area. Outside of that their games are pretty similar.
