Brady and Mahomes don't get held against 2 on your list like BB?

The premise you gave was "the last decade."

Look at the head coaches in the Super Bowl the last 5 years
Andy Reid
Kyle Shanahan
Nick Sirianni
Sean McVay
Zac Taylor
Bruce Arians

How many of them take a step or three back since going to the Super Bowl? And only one of them has Mahomes, so can you tell me which others have gone be or looked dominant?

Detroit is a monster. They're #1 overall in team DVOA, and 3rd overall in offensive and defensive DVOA. So Glenn's side has matched Johnson's side, but Johnson is considered a can't miss while Glenn is suspect.

That's because he is an offensive coach with a great scheme. It's easier to find a good DC to pair with that

Now what Aaron Glenn has done with that defense is legit. He has that secondary balling.

Goff played like absolute crap last night and Texans still lost. Jury is still out on whether Ryans will be a good HC long

You could say that about any young coach

We've got 3-4 years before having a good HC will matter.

I honestly don't care who is hired.

It's almost useless to hire defensive coaches given the way the NFL rules are setup to favor offensive scoring. You have to just outscore people ie... KC similar to Drew Brees SP teams. You just need a few stops.

What makes Johnson can’t miss? I need to be informed.

I don't think anyone is a can't miss, but Johnson is clearly the #1 guy out there. I would gladly take him.

He's just the current hot chick at the party.

Almost every fired coach was the next can't-miss coordinator once upon a time.

Yes and that’s why I am saying it about Ryans. I know the media wants to crown him for reasons but it ain’t that time yet.

Facts. This was easily a closed argument just like when people prop up running QBs. They do not win championships.

Reality is, none of us knows. We aren't getting a hot commodity, and we saw what happened with re-treads...

Let's see which head coaches are getting fired this year.
Robert Saleh
Dennis Allen
Matt Eberfleus

What do they all have in common

Retread coaches getting fired? Is that a surprise.

See the difference is the coaches I named are first time head coaches
