I doubt Saints have the cap space to give Revis the money he would want

What/who would we trade? Him asking for a new contract every year would get annoying

Maybe we're just trying to drive up the price so the Niners keep their picks and can trade them to us.

Brees is willing to re work his deal to add talent. Maybe next offseason he does what Brady did this yr.

I guess we would trade this year's first pick and next year's second? Or something like that. I really don't see this happening in any case.

If even remotely possible, we need to see more cap space clearing yesterday

Not enough to get the guy who wants to be the highest payed defensive player in the league and will hold out every time a player signs for more than his salary

Even if somehow we acquired him, there's nothing we could give up for him that would benefit us more than instead using those resources to address multiple other needs. Unless they want a Louisiana purchase type deal because lest we forget its the Jets...

I see no way the Saints could pay him on his current deal, let alone on the new one he is looking for

If Sean wants him Mickey will play with the cap somehow to make it work.

The guy is an amazing player and athlete, but I sure as hell hope he isn't in black and gold next year. Too much money for one player. How much money is Revis due next year?

I'm sure the Broncos have room, and this would boost up an already top 5 pass defense, but I want him there multiple seasons. Not just a quick score and move on.
