Remember: Paper, not plastic bags!

Just a stark reminder to all you Saints fans...times have changed since the days of donning paper bags to show your disappointment in the infamous "Aints".
Please, in your haste to revisit history, remember that the bags from the stores are plastic. Don't wrap a plastic bag around your head..that's not healty.

The jags are a far superior team at this point with significantly better qb, coach, lines, etc. Not sure why THAT would be the reason.

How old were you when the bags came out in 1980...?
They're 3-3 with 11 games to go. They won one game that season, second to last game in December. You don't know bad, that season was BAD!!!

ah yes, reminds me of the many years after that where we still sucked with the likes of danny weurfel at QB and the fun we had
most here are clueless what bad is, or that we felt good about just that 1 win because it was the only good thing that year

Danny Wuerffel was not the QB in 1980.

Danny Wuerffel was not the QB in 1980.
But I always roll my eyes when these bag threads come out. These youngsters have no real understanding of the agony of being a Saints fan and hoping for a .500 season. Always having a backup team to root for in the playoffs.

ya, i quoted you but my comment wasnt talking about that year. i edited it to clarify.
for so many years it felt like 5 wins were the best we ever had to hope for, and getting to 500 was like winning a playoff game for us

yep, they just dont get it and may never will.
when winning 5 games is better than the last 4 seasons it sucks right through to your bones.
people literally wore bags, not to be cute or get likes, we did it because we didnt want to be seen on TV and get shite on all week at work for being at the game. so wear a bag then you can pretend you never went to the game
use to be a thing to stop at Swegmans to buy chips or something just to get the brown bag for the game
