we don't play a defense like this but once or twice more.

i'm hoping you meant offense because their defense didn't stop us really.... we didn't execute, plain and simple.... Colston couldn't catch shite and our play selection was terrible... Add untimely turnovers and our offense was the reason our offense looked shitty at times....

Drew cost us 7 points, Officials another 7, and poor play calling made us settle for a Field Goal close to the End Zone. 17 points we left off the field, and not even counting the silly defensive mistakes like the 12th man penalty for 3 points, or the busted coverage for another 7 points.

the "shoulda, coulda, woulda" excuse can be made on THEIR end too, you realize that, right? let's just stick with what actually DID happen.... and that was that we played terribly, but they didn't give up, even when most of the posters here did.... simply put, we have A LOT of work to do if we want to make the post season and i'm not even going to venture a prediction past just getting there..... at this point anyway....

If the defense continues to play that poorly, it won't matter what the offense does.

Yea, it would make the O have to be perfect just to keep up.

I liked the way that the Saints came on strong in the 4th Q and almost tied the game.

I get the feeling that we just ran out of time. We didn't lose the game.

You should probably take another glance at the score board.

We DID lose the game.

We were unfocused for 3 quarters.

Let this be our wake up call.
The worse loss, the better.

With everyone bitching about Brees' salary, it made me remember the XFL where the winning team got paid more than the losing team.

You are oblivious.

Their front 4 constantly pressured Drew. Our Receivers never found a pocket or managed separation. Sure we had drops, didn't protect, block well, or even get open well enough. But their Defense did an amazing job today. I definitely agree that regardless of their good play on defense, if we step it up and play close to our capabilities on offense we roll right through them.

Most of it will correct itself. Blocking/protection wont be as bad in many future games. We return key secondary members from injury. I don't know about Drew forcing passes, nor our receivers getting separation though. Those happened all day, and I really don't know why.

I'm not mad at the guy, but he shouldn't be telling someone to "get the frick off" the board, for stating a fact that Drew was sucking! I can't stand posters that get all bent out of shape if a player is called out for playing like shite. They act like you are not a fan for stating a fact.

Then I stated a joke about slapping him in the face with my dick, but I guess I should have put after the statement. He called me an internet badass, so I just wanted to give him an opportunity to prove his statement.

Saints just ran out of time today. They were on a roll to win when the game ended.

We had a clunker like this vs Rams last season. Hope this is the one this season and over with from here on!

I was hoping I was going to have to eat Crow but we would have done better borrowing LSU defense for a day.

This defense is horrible they might give up 40 or more in this game...

complete fricking joke I am taking washington to score every damn drive this game...
