They got Mac Jones looking like a damn Pro Bowler this year.

Mac Jones was a pro bowler in NE. San Fran just happens to have two competent QBs

Rattler has done well, relative to reasonable expectations. He hasn’t yet hit his ceiling and that’s a good sign.

The best thing for him would be to make the change now. It allows him to step out on a high note. And if, toward the end of the year, Shough is just NOT progressing, you can throw him back in and again see how he looks.

The Saints HAVE to see Shough though. I think it would be a major mistake not to move to him soon.

The fans that are saying it’s time to see what you have in Shough are not saying that due ti the color of his skin.

If we had a below average starter that was white and had drafted a black QB, and you could see that the upside was higher with the black QB (as a passer, not JUST as an athlete)………at a certain point it’s time to go to the draft pick that has more upside.

I wanted us to draft Mahomes, I wanted us to have a shot at Jayden…….so no, that fact that Shough is white or that Rattler is black carries no weight.

This entire post is about race. I asked why the frick do you think he has more upside.

My apologies, I thought I was answering your assertion that I believed that Shough had more upside because he was white. If you wouldn’t have made that inference…..my post would never have had that element. So spare me your bullshite of being appalled at my post containing a race element

The reason he has more upside is because he does a better job reading defenses and not just going to the checkdown immediately, he has more arm talent, he’s a better athlete, and he can actually see over the offensive line to read the defense post snap.

Not to mention, the Saints organization viewed him as having more upside evidenced by the fact that they drafted him in the second round……while Rattler was still on the roster.

For those saying the “game manager” thing over and over…. Imaging Aaron Rodgers in his prime on this team. Explain to me what he would be doing on this team, with this OL, with this TE/WR group that would not be game managing as the best chance for winning.

What else can one do with this offense?

Offense lacks talent. I hope Ruiz stays out rest of season.
