Nice point, but those guys had a hell of lot more pedigree.
Well you don't know Rattler's background then.
Secondly, according you to those guys suck & would never become quality NFL starting QBs because they didn't play up to par as rookies especially Darnold who was surrounded by a shite roster with the Jets as a rookie.

Rattler was a great recruit. He wasn't a top 5 pick like your 2 references

By the way, Jordan Love is better than any QB currently on the Saints roster & he's looking like complete dog shite against the Vikings because of constant pressure in his face all game long.

But that’s not an excuse when Carr had the same circumstances outside the first two games?

Neither was Warren Moon, Kurt Warner or Tom Brady. Moon & Warner are in the HOF & Brady is an unanimous first ballot HOF.

Rattler is certainly in their company. Good call.

Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix are rookies. No way in hell they look this terrible, if playing today for the Saints. Against the worst team in the league
Hes terrible.he doesnt even have 100 yds this half. Thats bad. Very bad

quote:They schooled him? They learned what other teams have learned. Blitz the shite out of a useless OLine and he will have to throw quickly and off schedule. He was picking them apart until they changed their game plan (same as other teams have done). Without an OLine, running game or receivers, it is tough to judge any QB.
Maybe you missed the part where I said if they played for the Saints today
Hes terrible. This is vs the worst team in the league, and they schooled him
There is no nuance to that

He's the next Brady and moon.

Exactly. If you watch Caleb Williams & Spence Rattler just from PHYSICAL TALENT standpoint, there is not much difference if any at all in terms of mobility, ability to throw on the run & arm strength in general. The only differences is one followed & continued to play in a Lincoln Riley offense that lead to Williams winning a Heisman & becoming a #1 pick overall. The other transferred to South Carolina to play in a system that really didn't fit nor develop him which is why he went in the 5th round. Matter of fact, when Williams committed to Oklahoma, Rattler was being projected as a 1st round pick.

If tweet fails to load, click here. While Lincoln Riley's offense was a better fit, it does nothing to prepare QBs for the NFL when you look at the early struggles of Mayfield & Williams in their rookie seasons. Rattler had 2 seasons in that same offensive system before transferring to South Carolina.

Two undrafted free agents & a 6th rounder who never deserved to start, right?

I wouldn’t go that far, he was really good in 2 minute……but that is the only circumstance where Rattler is really good. That’s not a good thing. He definitely has some arm talent, and I definitely think he should be the backup…….but he is not an NFL starter (right now).

I'm done responding to you. Critical thinking isn't a strong suit for you. Neither is football. You should probably follow water polo instead.

You keep saying this. Why? He was very good the whole first half.

He’s never been good.

Your expectations are a bit high for a rookie who doesn’t have a single legitimate starting NFL WR and a terrible OL.
People like you who just expect to win in the face of reality just make me laugh.
