Rattled showed some promise

I know he threw some bad picks but he is a rookie. He also had to fit it in some tight windows with these horrible receivers not getting separation and also them dropping balls.
Wasn't great but there was definitely some good stuff there and didn't look lost despite the pressure. Still had some confidence.
He may not be the answer but I'm definitely not writing him off yet.

He helped produce 10 points in the last 2 games. Now has 1 TD pass in 4 starts. You really can’t show much less promise than that.

I'll defend OP and say that there's enough there to consider him a legit #2 with some potential upside as he learns.

He looks like a rookie on a shite team. He shows flashes of promise but also throws bad picks from taking risks. A lot of very good to great qbs started their careers looking very similar. There’s also a lot of career backups and washouts who looked like that too.
None of us know which one Rattler will be in 3 years. I don’t think Lamar Jackson could succeed on this dumpster fire team, so we’ll just have to wait until next year.

I agree! I don’t think rattler is great but he does show flashes of good stuff. He playing with wr’s off the street. He’s playing with a rb off the street. No Tysom hill. Below average often, injured offensive line. shite defense.
