With the Byrd signing, what does that mean for Bush? I thought he was a solid guy for us last year. Do you think the team will bring him back?

He's tendered. He'll most likely be back with the team, and he'll be playing SS, Bryd at FS, while Vaccaro roams the field like a mad man.

He will get playing time. Rob loves him some 3 safety play!

He'll be our 3rd safety, and a damn good one at that. I still wouldn't mind Ryan Clark on a minimum deal for some depth.

Honestly all 3 can cover and tackle very well so I don't think they'll be forced into a box. Ryan is going to wreak havoc moving them all around.

Right. They'll be creative. It does put less stress on the CB position as a whole too.

With the emergence of TE's, running with 2CB/3S will be common.

the NFL is incredibly copycat. Seattle DBs? Okay, let's do that.

Prediction: The Saints varied 3-3-5 & 4-2-5 alignments will be the copycatted trend this time next year.

Love wearing my Rafael Bush jerseys to the Dome. Dude can hit like a truck and was the only one playing with any real fire on defense in the Seattle game.

Our safety play is going to be so insanely sick for years. Vacarro will only improve with more experience IMO and now we have a top 2 safety in the NFL next to him. If we can get a consistent pass rush like last season we will straight up dominate teams.

I saw yesterday where Tripplett was stating that we are copy catting off of Sea due to their Safety play. This is false. Ryan brought in a 3S technique last season, but injuries screwed up lots of what he wanted to do. He is just retooling for this season. We aren't copying shite. We are setting a new standard
